Welcome to Kimberley's Elementary Schools

Learn English with Canadian kids in grades K-5

Rocky Mountain School District No. 6 has created seven international student spaces at each of Kimberley's three elementary schools. By limiting spaces Go English can offer international students a true immersion experience. Participating children learn and play with English-speaking Canadian kids in the classroom and on the playground.

Blarchmont Elementary

Blarchmont is the largest of Kimberley's three elementary schools. It has a student population of about 150 students and is located near the centre of Kimberley within walking distance of the Civic Centre arena and Kimberley's new indoor pool and recreation centre. (featured school)

Marysville Elementary

Marysville Elementary School is located in South Kimberley, about 7km from the city centre. The school sits on a huge campus that includes a playground and two playing fields. It is across the street from an arena and within walking distance of the Marysville's shopping area.

Lindsay Park Elementary

Lindsay Park is Kimberley's postcard school. It sits atop a plateau overlooking the majestic Rocky Mountains. The school has been refurbished and has a "brand new" feel. It is within walking distance of downtown and has a playground, soccer field and a baseball diamond.

All three schools are fully modern education facilities with computer rooms and Internet access as well as libraries, gymnasiums and music rooms. The schools share the services of a speech pathologist, a counsellor, an aboriginal education instructor and a community links worker.
